Iran to partake Beijing Book Fair as special guest

The 2017 Beijing International Book Fair in China is to host Iran as the special guest of the event.

Director of Iran Cultural Fairs Institute, Amir Masoud Shahramnia, and general manager of the 30th Tehran international book fair, Gholamreza Noei, met with Chinese officials to organize the future event.

The Beijing International Book Fair is now considered by many as one of the top four International Book Fairs in the world.

As the Chinese market is growing at an astonishing rate, offering titles with English languages, the Chinese government has made learning English a mandatory mission for all Chinese children.

Little wonder then that many first-time US and UK publishers will also participate in the event.

The 24th Beijing book fair is scheduled to be held from August 23-27, 2017.
